Cursed Possessions
Cursed Possessions are found throughour the map of the chosen location, and all of them has a 1/7 chance of being chosen. There can only be one possession present at a time, unless it is a challenge run or customized run. All Cursed Possessions use sanity as fuel, and if sanity reached 0%, a cursed hunt will start. A curset hunt can only be initiated by using possessions, and ignore hunt sanity thresholds and hunt cooldowns. Only a crucifix tier 3 can prevent a cursed hunt. Photos can be taken of all possessions as an extra reward with up to 5$ and 5XP.

Haunted Mirror
The Haunted Mirror is a Cursed Possession used for locating the ghosts favorite room in exchange for sanity. It works by looking into the mirror, and it will show a sweeping panorama of the ghost room. The mirror drains atleast 20% sanity per use, and if the players sanity reaches 0%, the mirror will crack and a cursed hunt will start. The mirror cannot be used after it has cracked.
Monkey Paw
The Monkey Paw can be used by players to grant wishes. The number of wishes depends on the amount of fingers the Paw is holding up. The whishes that can be made are:
“I wish to see the ghost” this will trigger a ghost event at the ghost’s current location and obscures the players vision. After 5 seconds, the the event will stop and a cursed hunt will start. The players vision will return to normal after the hunt ends
“I wish for activity'” or “i wish the ghost would do something” these wishes doubles all ghost activity for 2 minutes, the fuse box will permanently break and the exit door will be locked for 2 minutes.
“I wish to trap the ghost” or “i wish the ghost was trapped” will teleport the ghost to its room and locks all of its doors for 1 minute, the ghost cannot hunt, roam or use abilities during this. The players current room will also be losked for 1 minute. After 1 minute, the ghost will start a cursed hunt.
“I wish to be sane” or “i wish for sanity” this will set every players sanity to 50%, and the passive sanity drain will be multiplied by 1.5 for the rest of the game, and the ghost will change favorite room.
“I wish to be safe” will open up the nearest hiding spot. The lights in the players current room will shatter, and the ghost will be able to hear the player who made the wish and sense their active electronics at any distance.
“I wish to leave” unlocks all exit doors including during hunts. Reduces players speed before returning after 5 seconds. The players vision will also be reduced for this duration.
“I wish to revive my friend” or “i wish for life” revives a dead player, but the wishing player has a 50% chance to die.
“I wish for knowledge” removes 1 incorrect evidence and corresponding ghost types from the wishers journal. The ghost will then start a hunt near the wisher, and they will have muffled audio and redused vision until death or the roung ends.
“I wish for [weather] sun, rain, clear sky, fog, snow or wing” changes the weather to the chosen one, this will cause temporary blindness while the weather changes and deduct 25% sanity from the player.
“I wish for anything” will randomlygrant one of the unused wishes above.
make sure the wish is clear, so the game dosen’t mishear “i wish to be sane” and “i wish to be safe”
Music Box
The Music Box can be used to pinpoint the ghost’s location. When activated, the box plays a tune, and if the ghost is within 20 meters of the box, it will sing along to the tune. If the ghost is within 5 meters of the box, it will trigger a ghost event where the ghost manifests and walks towards the box. The box can be handheld or placed on the ground. Placing it on the ground it the only way to safely discard the box without triggering a cursed hunt. The box will close once it stops playing, and it can only be used once. If a player throws the box on the ground or otherwise disrupts the tune, the ghost will start a cursed hunt.
Ouija Board
The Ouija Board allows players to communicate with the ghost and ask questions. The sanity drain from using the board depends on the question.
50% sanity drain: questions like, “where are you?” and “where is the bone?”
20% sanity drain: questions like, “are you here?” “how many are in this room?” and “do you respond to everyone?”
5% sanity drain: questions like, “how old are you?” “how long have you been dead?” “what is my sanity?” “how did you die?” “how do you feel?” “why are you ere?” “knock knock” and “marco”
0% sanity drain: questions like, “hide and seek”
If the player asking questions reaches 0% sanity or says “hide and seek”, a cursed hunt will start, or if the player walks more than 5 meters away from the board without saying goodbye. If a player is done asking questions and the board is still intact, they have to say “goodbye” to end the connection with the ghost and avoid breaking it.
Summoning Circle
The Summoning Circle is used to summon the ghost. This makes a great oppertunity for ghost photos. Players need to light all five candles in fire to summon the ghost. It will stay motionless for about 5 seconds, before immediately starting a cursed hunt. lighting each candle takes 16% sanity, so 80% sanity total. if a player has less than 16% sanity, the candle will extinguish itself. hunt will immediately begin if the player has less than 16% sanity when lighting the last candle.
The Border of the circle repeats the words “sacrifice your sanity” transliterated into a runic alphabet.
Tarot Cards
The Tarot Cards can be used to trigger random effects on either the ghost or the player. there are 10 usages in one deck, and 10 cards in total, although that dosen’t mean there is one of each card in every deck. The cards in the deck are randomly generated, so players may get mnultiple of the same card in one deck. Each card has s different meaning and outcome. After all cards are drawn, all future hunts will be extended by 20 seconds.
The Tower: this card causes an interaction and doubles all ghost activity for 20 seconds. This card burns blue and has a 20% draw chance.
The Wheel of Fortune: the player drawing this card gains 25% sanity if it burns green, and drains 25% sanity if it burns red. This card has a 20% draw chance.
The Sun: this card fully restores the drawing players sanity to 100%. This card burns yellow and has a 5% draw chance.
The Moon: this card instantly drops the drawing players sanity to 0%. This card burns white and has a 5% draw chance.
The Devil: this card triggers a ghost event towards the nearest player to the ghost. this card burns pink and had a 10% draw chance.
The Hermit: this card teleports the ghost back to its ghost room and traps it there for 1 minute. this does not effect hunts or ghost events. this card burns cyan and has a 10% draw chance.
The High Priestess: this card revives a randomly chosen dead player at their corpse. If no one is dead, it will revive the next player who dies. This card does not stack, and if a player dies and is revived in the same hunt, that player cannot get killed in that same hunt. This card burns light yellow and has a 2% draw chance.
The Hanged Man: this card instantly kills the player. This card has a 1% draw chance.
Death: this card triggers a cursed hunt. This card burns purple and has a 10% chance.
The Fool: this card randomly selects another card with equal chance to appear as, before turning into The Fool as it burns. There is no effect when drawing this card. This card burne light purple and has a 17% draw chance. If a player is drawing cards during a hunt, the only car that can show up is The Fool.
Voodoo Doll
The Voodoo Doll will force the ghost to perform interactions. Using the doll will make one of 10 pins get pushed into the doll at random, ig the heart pin gets pushed in, a cursed hunt will start. Esch pin drops players sanity by 5%, the heart pin takes 10%. If the player’s sanity is less than the pushed pin drains, all remaining pins will be pushed in and a cursed hunt will start. The interactions can halp cause evidence like Ghost Writing, D.O.T.S Projector and Ultraviolet.

Cursed Possessions will always spawn at the same places, just different locations depending on the map.
