Evidence and Equipment

This page is going to start off explaining what to use to get evidence and how to get it. Then it will explain how optional equipment works and what they do.

EMF Reader

The EMF Reader is used to measure electromagnetic fields in the nearby environment. The different tiers have different ranges: T1 – 1.7m, T2 – 2m, T3 – 3.5m.

The EMF levels mean different things, EMF 1 is nothing, EMF 2 is interaction with an object(ex. moving doors), EMF 3 is throwing an object, EMF 4 is ghost manifestation (the ghost will appear/show itself) and EMF 5 is evidence. Max 2 EMF in one van.

Ultraviolet

The UV light is used to check if the ghost leaves behind prints on doors, switches, windows or floors. For example, if a ghost has moved a door, hold/shine a UV Light on the door and look for green prints, those count as evidence. Max 2 in one van.

Ghost Writing Book

The Ghost Writing Book is used to check if ghost writing is an evidence. To check this, the book needs to be placed down onto a surface while opened, in order to get the ghost to interact. The ghost will not write if the book is closed. Max 2 in one van.

Thermometer

The Thermometer is used to detect cold temperatures. this can help locate the ghost room and can count as evidence. If a room is around 5 degrees celcuis and the Fuse Box is on, you have found the ghost room. If the thermometer shows under 0 degrees celcuis, it counts as evidence. Max 2 in one van.

D.O.T.S Projector

The D.O.T.S Projector can be used to reveal the ghost’s movement. If a ghost has D.O.T.S as evidence, it will enter a “D.O.T.S State”, in which it will show up as a faint silhouette. D.O.T.S stands for Detector Of The Supernatural. Max 2 in one van.

Video Camera

The Video Camera is used to detect Ghost Orbs. If a ghost has Ghost Orbs as evidence, they will show up inside the ghost room looking like small singular snowflakes floating around in the air. Orbs are only visible through a Video Camera. Max 4 in one van.

Spirit Box

The Spirit Box is used to try to get the ghost to communicate with players. If the ghost has Spirit Box as evidence, the ghost will respond to players’ questions if close enough. In order to get a respone, all nearby light in the current room must be off. There will not be a respone if the ghost dosen’t have spiritbox as evidence. Max 2 in one van.

Optional Equipment

Flashlight

Just a casual flashlight, the higher the teir, the stronger it gets. If a hunt is ongoing, and a flashlight is turned on near the ghost, the light will flicker rapidly. This counts as an electronic, and can be turned on without needing to be held. Max 4 in one van.

Crucifix

The Crucifix can be used to prevent ghosts from hunting within a certain range. T1 can prevent one hunt total, T2 can prevent 2, and T3 can prevent 2 hunts and can prevent one cursed hunt. This equipment is consumable, meaning if one gets used during a game, players need to buy a new one. Max 2 in one van.

Firelight

Small lights to place throughout the map. They will help slow down passive sanity drain to some degree. The light can go out by itself, ot the ghost can blow it out if it is within 3 meters og the light, this can me used to monitor the ghosts’ movement. This equipment is consumable, meaning if one gets used during a game, players need to buy a new one. Max 4 in one van.

Head Gear

The use of these Headgears depend on the Tier. T1 is a Headgear providing video feed back to the van, T2 provides a small amount of light and T3 provides night vision goggles. Be careful though, there count as electronics, which the ghost can sense, so make sure to turn them off should a hunt start. Max 4 in one van.

Igniter

These Igniters can be uden to light up Firelights or Incense, or used to create light by themselves,. none of these are electronic, so they can be used to help aid an escape during a hunt. Tier 1 and 2 of this equipment are consumables, meaning if one gets used during a game, players need to buy a new one. Max 4 in one van.

Incense

This item can be used to help flee the ghost if it gets line-of-sight. Using an Igniter, the Incense will start to burn for a short while, and if close enough to the ghost, will it blind it, making it lose its line-of-sight. T1 has a range of 3 meters ane burns for 5 seconds, T2 has one of 4 meters and burns for 6 seconds and T3 has one of 5 meters and burns for 7 seconds. They each have one use. This equipment is consumable, meaning if one gets used during a game, players need to buy a new one. Max 4 in one van.

Motion Sensor

This item can help track and monitor the ghosts’ movements. They can be put on walls or floors and will emit a red laser beam, showing its range. If a player, dead player, object or ghost walks through the laser, the sensor will light up for 2 seconds. Max 4 in one van.

Parabolic Microphone

The Parabolic Microphone, or Paramic can be used to detect sound throumg walls and from a distance. This allows players to hear a ghost’s paranormal sounds, like voices, growls or footsteps, but this can also be dangerous, as certain ghosts can drain sanity through the Paramic. Other ghosts might get busted from one aswell. T1 has a 20 meter range, while T2 and 3 has a 30 meter range. Max 2 in one van.

Photo Camera

The Photo Camera is used to take pictures to gain extra rewards and XP. The T1 camera is not electronic, the others are. The pictures players take will show up in the Journal. Max 3 in one van.

Salt

Salt can be used to check for Ultraviolet, or photo rewards. If the ghost steps in the salt, a footprint may show up if UV Light is shined upon it before the print disappears. T2 and 3 salt make long lines of salt for higher interaction rates, and can each make 3 lines per bottle. The T1 can only make 2 small piles. T3 has 2 rking ways, 1 is if the ghost is walking passively, if the ghost touches the salt, it will turn aroung and walk the other way, and if the ghost is hunting, the salt will slow the ghost down, helping players escape. This equipment is consumable, meaning if one gets used during a game, players need to buy a new one. Max 3 in one van.

Sanity Medication

Sanity Medication is used to replenish a players sanity, the higher the tier, the faster sanity is replensihed. The tier does not change the amount of sanity restored, the games difficulty does:

amateur gives 40%, intermediate gives 35%, professional gives 30%, nightmare gives 25%, insanity gives 20% and custom gives 0%-100%.

This equipment is consumable, meaning if one gets used during a game, players need to buy a new one. Max 4 in one van.

Sound Sensor

The Sound Sensor can be used to listen for interactions and objects moving from the safety of the van. The sensor will ignore walls, and listen for anything happening within its range, showing the loudness of the noise on the Sound Monitor inside the van. Max 4 in one van.

Tripod

The Triod is used to place a Video Camera on, and will decrease the chances of the ghost tripping or moving the camera. This also gives the camera a great height to ovserve from the van, and T2 and 3 can rotate the camera by using the computer in the van. Max 4 in one van.
